Scarlets and Ospreys... can they pull this off?

I'm sure brotherly love between the O's and Scarlets will bind them into an unbeatable combined force as they try to beat the Irish opposition this afternoon...
Something like that anyway. I reckon it can be done, but both are tough matches, especially the Scarlets' away at Munster. Presumably the Ospreys will be trying to get that bonus point, so it should be exciting rugby.

Not looking good for the Ospreys, but the Scarlets are still in it.

The Ospreys taken apart by Ulcer and Munster leading with ten to go. It's all gone tits up.

At least the Blues finish above the Ospreys.

Sadly the Scarlets took a pasting as well.

Nope, not even close. Ulster were way too physical for the Ospreys. They seemed to have an unending supply of huge ball carriers to run at and through our line. The ref could maybe have shown them yellow when they were racking up the penalties in the first half, but it would have made little difference.
Only one Welsh team in the Champions Cup - well, it's not like we couldn't see it coming.
Well done Cardiff for the win. But WTF was going with the Dragons - a pasting from Zebre??

A piss poor season all round really. Scarlets, Ospreys and Blues have had small patches where they looked ok but none could pull it together for a whole season. Injuries, RWC and weak squads all played their part.
Fingers crossed that the humping from Zebre put an end to Kingsleys hopes of being their coach.
Ospreys need a new coach too.

Until the ownership question is sorted out, I can't see anything happening but Kingsley staying on as a temporary head coach.
Heaven help us.

I don't think we can complain too much about the Scarlets' season: 5th place isn't too bad. But everyone else was very poor. At least for the Blues they're clearly on an upward curve. For the Ospreys I just hope things will return to normal with a non-RWC year.

The Scarlets seemed to benifet massivly during the RWC which is strange since they had plenty missing too but the last few weeks its felt like they're just clinging on rather than cementing their place at the top. Blues look to be turning it around but its very early days yet. Ospreys have missed quite a few due to RWC/6N and to injury; AWJ, Webb, Tips etc. Just seems like this year just wasn't a great year for Welsh rugby, maybe my hopes were too high after seeing the civil war settled and a few twunts go to the wall. Fingers crossed for next year (I'm ignoring the humping at Twickers and tour of NZ to come shortly).

Anything could happen in that game. Both sides will be missing plenty of players, I suspect England will be hurting a bit more but who knows exactly who will be available. But of a pointless match in most elements. If the idea is to warm up for the amazing tour then it makes some sense, but only if the best possible side is actually available. If the idea is development the play the Saxons and we can put out a one time A side.
