Boo, could open the door for Jenkins or Davies I suppose.

doesn't sound good for 1/2 p that...wish him all the best.Buggaluggs wrote:½P out too. More surgery.
Bugger. Lets hope we have a decently strong team for this tour; our back 3 is looking a bit fragile at the moment with Liam Williams also looking a bit shaky post 6N.Numbers wrote:George North also has a knee injury at the moment.
The Fail are suggesting that he will miss the warm up matches, so its a no go.Numbers wrote:It does say a three month layoff so not sure why he would miss out on the Olympics which starts in August, it's not as though he can't do conditioning work he just won't be able to do contact work.
Nice to hear you so concerned about the health of the Welsh players. I'm sure they will be as equally concerned about your waste of money. Maybe they'll have a whip round for you.Lizard wrote:It will be a real shame if the team is not at least near full strength. I've got a ticket to the first test and I don't want to have wasted my money on a development XV.
He'll miss all of the 7 series so won't be able to prove himself at top level competition. I'm not sure when the squad has to be named but personally I think he'd be worth a punt if he can get himself appropriately fit. It's not like we'd be disrupting a world beating team.Sandydragon wrote:The Fail are suggesting that he will miss the warm up matches, so its a no go.Numbers wrote:It does say a three month layoff so not sure why he would miss out on the Olympics which starts in August, it's not as though he can't do conditioning work he just won't be able to do contact work.
If there is one forward who seems tailor made for sevens its tipuric so I agree. I'm guessing the management want to play fair though, bad luck for him.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:He'll miss all of the 7 series so won't be able to prove himself at top level competition. I doubt fitness will be an issue with a concussion lay off.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:He'll miss all of the 7 series so won't be able to prove himself at top level competition. Depends on the severity of concussion - some people can't run without dizzy spells. The higher degree of oxygen deprivation in 7s might be an issue.Numbers wrote:I doubt fitness will be an issue with a concussion lay off.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:He'll miss all of the 7 series so won't be able to prove himself at top level competition.
