Got to hope that it's going to come off La Rochelles lungs in the 2nd half.

Robson's tracking is superb. Every break, he's right there in support - take note Eddie.

All of Launchbury, Robson, Cipriani, Eastwood, Daly, Wade and Le roux were excellent. Third try was a bit fortunate given the pass from Carr to Robson looked more than a tad forward. Good win, great turnaround.

If you're La Rochelle in that game surely you just stick the ball in the air once your hopes to play don't get you anywhere? Great conditions to force a knock on even if you can't win the ball back and you wouldn't even mind who had the feed with your scrum on top. Inept from the visiting team's halfbacks

Interesting from Only The Good that Daly is pi55ed off not to be playing centre.

Did he elaborate? Daly has always seemed genuine that he doesn’t really mind. Also, he’s been on fire over the last few weeks on the wing.

England and Wasps look better teams with him at 11 imo.

I don't blame Daly for not wanting to be on the wing, I never liked playing out there. There's plenty of work to do but it did feel more than a little removed from the action. (I never really wanted to play centre either though)

no more elaborate than Daly wanted to play 13, and was peeved not to be. He said its about getting your best players on the park. I think he's a better wing than a centre tbh

I loved playing 13, was ok with 15, and enjoyed the wing as a rare outing; these days would be even better with licence to come off the wing, and pick and choose lines. I was too slow for winger after I tore my hamstring tho, never really got top pace back.

Great turnaround from Wasps.

Thought Robson very good and showed what an asset he can be. Daly looks more like a winger every time he plays now. Having that playmaking/line breaking ability out wide is so handy to any side.

I would just like to take a moment to acknowledge this pun. Nice.

Daly needs to be told very firmly that he's a winger, the same way Foden was told he was a 15. He looks to the manor born there, whereas he always looked a bit streaky at 13.

This one has a better ring to it. Both good though.

Can’t be considered a pun surely? It’s funny, for a start.

Dai Young...and junior - Thomas.

It's been Dai's nickname since his playing days so 20 odd years.

In terms of daly - bassett is listed as injured at present so it seems to remove any debate. de jongh is running the midfield defence well and you'd rather have a Bok 13 and Lions wing than a Lions 13 and marcus watson wing - good but not your best players. When bassett is fit it may force the issue, and we may start to see whether or not Bassett really is moving on at the end of the season (or indeed if he continues to be benched then maybe it'll make his mind up).

for me, all things being equal, our best starting line up sees bassett wing and daly 13. But you pretty much have to start with the principle that daly, cipriani and wade must start, and then fill the rest of the back line in from there.

On that note I tjhought eastmomd was terrific again yesterday and losing gopperth to injury may not hurt as much as it would have done previously.
