Re: v Fiji 24th June
This is fucking embarrassing. Although the move amounted to nothing the difference between Price and Pyrgos running the attack is night and day. Too little too late I fear.

Re: v Fiji 24th June
This really comes down to taking Fiji too lightly. Every single member of that starting backline besides Taylor needed carried to some extent. Who is there to do it?

Hoyland's had too many chances at international level and botched them all.

Try to Brown off the back of a maul. Conversion is not good. We collect the restart, Horne makes a great break and then passes to no-one. As you do 5 points down with just a few mins left.

Monster scrum turns over the ball. Last chance for us you have to think but Ali Price screws it up... Fiji then screw it up... another last chance.

Well played Fiji.
Far too many mistakes by backs who couldn't tackle the big boys out wide.

Is Visser mentally retarded? Why would you ever go that close to the touchline when the clock is red?
Embarrassing.

Haha, Christ. Fair fucks Fiji, they were well worth that. We were a bit abject in attack there. Not sure what's happened to the backs shape.

Besides Taylor and Price who would even get a look in of that lot? The backs were either out of form, playing low level rugby or inexperienced. And whilst I appreciate Vissers merits he needs a dominant team to create opportunities for him - given the aforementioned points was that ever going to happen? Perhaps Jones or Hughes would have been better picks.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Haha, Christ. Fair fucks Fiji, they were well worth that. We were a bit abject in attack there. The decision to send Dunbar home and release Finn is looking f*cking idiotic right now.

Aye, backs didn't fire at all today. Goes to show our complete lack of depth at fly half.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Besides Taylor and Price who would even get a look in of that lot? Dunbar needs managed and how exactly do you suggest Scotland bar Russell from the lions?hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Besides Taylor and Price who would even get a look in of that lot? Re: v Fiji 24th June
Played like fuds in pretty much every aspect while Fiji tu4ned up with the will, a plan and a scrum (didnt see the last one coming).
Seems rather appropriate that Toonies first loss should do e at the hands of Fiji!
