Rick Perry, Energy Secretary, responsible for the science and technology of energy supply and management, including raioactive waste:
"Energy Secretary Rick Perry said in an interview that he told President Donald Trump that he was God's "chosen one" to lead the United States, just as he chose the kings to lead Israel in the Old Testament.
Perry, who will reportedly soon be leaving the Cabinet, explained that nothing in the universe is accidental and that God "is still very active in the details of the day-to-day lives of government."
"Barack Obama didn't get to be the president of the United States without being ordained by God. Neither did Donald Trump," he said in a Fox News interview that aired Sunday, adding that God has used "individuals who aren't perfect all through history."
You don't have to work stuff out because God has a plan. Just kick back.
That's brilliant. Nothing is an accident. So (to take example familar to Americans) presumably 9-11 was God's will? How do these people function at all?

They kind of don't...

I'm sure his belief in the efficacy of prayer was impacted not one bit by its lack of efficacy.

Saying “it is God’s will” takes away from individual responsibility.
And signals the evangelicals that they are one of them.

Everyone knows this. It's a sham all around, but still it plays out. Anyone who dares speak out against it is battered with the blinding power of American sunshine. You can actually forge a lifelong career in politics in this country by avoiding all responsibility simply by invoking the Sky God. Through in some hollow gunz and socialism rhetoric and you've pretty much got a career full house. At least until you get caught in the throes of autoerotic asphyxia with a pound of cocaine and a Tijuana pool boy. That however seems preferable to the scandal of a woman in power or the possibility of another black man.
What a strange mix of innovation and arse-backwards society this country is.

My god it's hard to not get distracted by all the superficially dumb stuff he says/does. It's just endless.

He rightly boasted about it. This must easily make the top ten among the achievements of his presidency.

It's a distraction; a triviality to drive you insane; a tiny extra step forward in the project to dumb everything down.
Try to ignore it.

Has anyone ever seen him stand up from a seat? Can he even stand by himself or does he need a winch? And if he can stand is he reliant on using armrests to gain some additional lift?

Trump in an interview with Bill O'Reilly has said he didn't direct Giuliani to go to the Ukraine. Two thoughts, firstly that's not even a remotely credible line, and second wtf are you doing giving an interview to Bill O'Reilly? Did you think you didn't have enough rape accusations and associations, and now with Epstein gone you needed to balance the situation back out?

Yup. I can't imagine he is saying such incredibly stupid things intentionally, but it certainly doesn't seem like any of his minders are trying to stop him. It's a good tactic. They can reasonably argue that "the left" complain about
everything he does, so the real horrific stuff just gets mixed up in the cringe-worthy shit about his hands, hair and orange skin.

So much so you'd excuse him from a mens rea culpability?

No. Simply stating (the obvious) that he is not engineering any social narrative as part of a cunning long term plan. When words come into Mr. Head, they go straight out of Mr. Mouth.

Surely you admired him saying 'this is a dog, a type of dog, some type of dog, we give dog medal'?

Oh come on. You're falling for that? Would an absolute cretin, as you describe, allow himself or his team to post this? I don't think so.

We shouldn't mock Trump going in for phase 1 of his medical, who knows how much more prep is required in the larger gentleman when it comes to getting the proctol exam done

What a sad act. Why not go full projecting retard and photoshop a horse's cock poking out from the hem of the shorts?

if you've not seen the video of Trump singing the law for a centennial coin commemorating women’s suffrage to be issued by the Treasury it's worth a gander. Having noted it's to celebrate the centenary Trump queries why this hasn't been done before displaying a true understanding of a simple and easy grasp passage of time. Actually it's worse than Trump not knowing what a century is because he also has an answer as to why it's happening now, and his answer isn't because a bi-partisan group of female politicians brought the act forward, Trump instead posits he's the reason it's happening now as he gets things done during his Presidency, whether he think's he's culpable for not advancing to the double centenary isn't yet known.
Whether you support him or not he's a truly fucking weird man.

I think he is literally too stupid to insult.
Cheer up. He may torpedo Boris's remaining political capital by coming out in support of him this month when he is over there "doing deals". He will say Boris offered to sell him Scotland or some such shit.
Should be a hoot.
