After the first 25 mins or so I had a look. I thought with them being newbies their odds would be longer than deserved. However, Paddy Power has them third favourites at 8/1, and rightly so.

Tough afternoon for Wasps. Well beaten, though you have to credit them for eking out a BP.
I really like the look of Willis. Came on, won 2 great turnovers and wasnt afraid to get stuck in. This is an impressive young player.

It didn’t help that it was Lacey too, which makes life awful for any away team. He was he usual truly awful self. La Rochelle did look very good, but also quite scrappy at times. I love their brand of rugby, though I’m not sure it’s European winner rugby. There’s some very canny sides out there, with lots of experience at this level. They remind me of an early Clermont.

They looked pretty average without the ball- though, as we heard, Wasps have a great launch; and Launch.

0-6 with Exeter going down today. Thats a pretty awful return, made more alarming by some of the abject efforts from some of our supposed top teams.
Bath can take a bow. The rest were really not up to much.

No, the general approach of the AP, as if excellence and winning were mutually exclusive anyway Mind, I see the AP as being a feeder for England, which I know isn't the view of most club fans.

Spot on. Prem clubs are very used to playing against each other but this weekend showed how badly they adapted to coming up against something different.

Wasps in particular have trouble thinking their way out of a jam and staying calm. Live Fast needs to get this sorted asap and dare I say get them doing a bit of T-CUP.

Wasps were up against arguably the most in form and strongest opposition, and whilst they definitely got well beaten, until right near the end, they were never completely out of it. Given the number of needless knock ons (I don't believe the defence particularly forced them), and generous reffing (though it did not change the final winning team), I'm in a particular hurry to suggest Wasps weren't able to compete.

I'd also wonder, with 2 last minute withdrawals due to stomach bugs, if perhaps some more of the team wasn't 100%.

La Rochelle looked good up front, if they are going to have a dominant pack you'd think they'd be better off with Lamb than James as if there's one thing Lamb can do well it's play on the front foot.
