Yeah. It was pretty obvious. The ref is having a bit of a mare.16th man wrote:The way the jumper suddenly shunted a couple of metres over in the air, you'd think so.Mellsblue wrote:There must've been a nudge in that Exe lineout in the 22.

Kalamafoni has had a blinder at the breakdown, fair play.

Exeter have been pretty subdued going forward.

Bad day at the office for Exeter, though Tigers very tenacious; as Puja predicted, their forwards have improved without Blaze.

Certainly managed the game and the conditions better than Steenson.Banquo wrote:good game from him generallyMellsblue wrote:George 'the chiropractor' Ford.

More mistakes from them in this one match than you'd expect in a months worth of games.Banquo wrote:Bad day at the office for Exeter, though Tigers very tenacious; as Puja predicted, their forwards have improved without Blaze.

Despite having a decent start to the season I think Exeter are missing some of their injured. LCD, Ewers, Waldrom and Simmonds, with Devoto and Nowell...that's arguably their 6 best ball carriers crocked for this game.

Three things. Firstly, this must be the most unpredictable season in a long time. Secondly, what a performance off the tee from Ford. Thirdly, why do idiots have to stand behind the pundits at the debrief drunkenly waving their pints around. ****s.

Good to see Leicester and Northampton being competitive. The Premiership is a better league when they're doing well.

Exe well below par i thought. far too many mistakes and poor execution, which is very unusual for them. in the end they'll be glad to get a BP but that wasnt a performance to remember.
Tigers showing signs of improvement with good defence and a much better l/o.

Agreed. It's a bit like cricket without a competitive Yorkshire team or football without Man U.Timbo wrote:Good to see Leicester and Northampton being competitive. The Premiership is a better league when they're doing well.
One daft little point. Was I right in not seeing Youngs pass to Ford until the 23rd minute?
Also, was the pass to May forward?

He wanted Wells or Williams back on the pitch as they had passed the HIA and the time was served but the officials where saying no.Mellsblue wrote:O'Connor as classy as ever. I presume Dickson stole his donut.

He did have a point - Wells left the pitch at 69.30 and the final scrum was at 79.40, so if he wanted to bring him back on, that was his right. Considering that Leicester had Malouf flanking on the side of the scrum that collapsed for Steenson's bonus point penalty (due to a frankly bizarre decision to have Youngs be the HIA sub for Wells), it might've been an important point.Tigersman wrote:He wanted Wells or Williams back on the pitch as they had passed the HIA and the time was served but the officials where saying no.Mellsblue wrote:O'Connor as classy as ever. Doesn't mean he had to be a d*ck about it though. Not impressed by that.

Just rewatched it and no. May's the same distance from the 22m that Youngs was when he passed and Youngs was running forwards when he released, so for it to have been physically flat, it must've left the hands backwards.Oakboy wrote: Also, was the pass to May forward?

Nothings change in that regards him and cockers used to get in a fury with the officials.Puja wrote:He did have a point - Wells left the pitch at 69.30 and the final scrum was at 79.40, so if he wanted to bring him back on, that was his right. Not really a bizarre decision to have Youngs go on as HIA sub for wells IMO either way you would either have a prop on the flank or a Wing on the flank (Who played flank in Aus for a bit) the trouble with having an extra prop on the field is that is one more fat guy for a quick guy to try an exploit and not sure if a prop would relaly help on the flank unless he knew what he was doing.

Last few games, including Argentina tour, are the best I've seen him play. While I know he'll never fit certain game plans, on this form he has to be in top two or three Flyhalfs in the world.Mellsblue wrote:Yep.Banquo wrote:good game from him generallyMellsblue wrote:George 'the chiropractor' Ford.
