A shame for Iceland, but Paddy Power are paying me out a £5 free bet for every goal France score so its not all bad.

Half time and France have already managed more shots on target against Iceland than England did in 90 minutes!

1 down, 3 to go.
Knowing Iceland, they'll go for another 4 to win 5-4!

Noticed that Giggs has put LvG's name in the hat for the England job.
Let's get one thing straight Giggsy, we deserve being the butt of the jokes after our failure and the memes have salted the wound. If that wasn't enough, seeing Wales topping the pool, winning their second round match and destroying Belgium in the quarters has put most England fans in a very delicate place so suggesting LvG as the next England coach isn't funny and it isn't clever. Especially as the FA are likely to take up the suggestion.

Decent penalty shout but ball to hand so would've been harsh but they do get given.
France counter and really should've made more of having an unmarked player charging through on the left. Wasted.

France V Germany is tough to call. I still back Germany for the title though.
All credit to Iceland though. They showed a lot of heart and character in their run. Be nice to see more of them in major tournaments.
