Elsewhere, the Pasty Cockwomble calls Extension Rebellion "uncooperative crusties". Being uncooperative is the whole point of the thing, whereas the reason it's got so big is that it's NOT just crusties.

However, great to see Pasty Cockwomble sticking to his principles of escalating everything he possibly can escalate.

It's worth watching Tories at War, a C4 documentary that was shown a couple of weeks ago (available on All4), following various Tory MPs (and some others) over the last 8 months or so. Interesting to see their views on Boris, Rees-Mogg etc. It gives a fascinating insight into the despicable Crispin Odey.

Apparently a deal has been agreed, one which treats NI as different to the mainland UK. I'm sure the differences are really important but I can't help feeling that this is May's pig of a deal with some lippy on.

That's not something to pay any mind to - he's saying that to try and get this deal through. If the EU has a choice between no deal and an extension, there's no way they'll be the ones to make no deal happen.

Ah, so Boris's gambit is to get any ol' POS deal on the table in parliament, knowing the DUP won't go for it, then comply with the Benn Act knowing that the EU won't extend because there is nothing further to negotiate?

NB: I haven't personally checked the veracity of this, but it passes the sniff test, given that we know the national prediction is for a 6.7% decline. The source is usually very good at making sure it's accurate in what it posts.
And no, I don't know the figure for NI, nor why they're not included here.
