Serj, I do believe you're thinking of Sumo Sue of Saigon and her predilection for goose grease, who has more than ample slippery slopes.

Back on topic, Jackson could be on his way to Perpignan - champions of proD2 and in the Top14 next season.

and for those of you viewing in Black and White

(google translate is your friend)

"According to our information, the officialization of the arrival of Paddy Jackson (26 years, 25 selections) at Usap is only a matter of time. Contacts between the Catalan club and the Irish international are very advanced. Both parties would have even reached an agreement at the beginning of the week.

The talented opening half has just been released by Ulster, after feeding the news columns, and was looking for a new challenge to revive his career. It should commit for at least a year."

Paddy Jackson should have a nice warm welcome when he goes to Connacht in next season's Challenge Cup.

I went on an Easter rugby tour to Galway, Westport and Athlone many years ago and they tell me that it was cold and wet. The Galway people, however, were very welcoming and the hotel barman went home at midnight and told us to serve ourselves!

He lives in the English equivalent of all the world's Birrs - Lancashire.

I think he is actually Johnny Vegas and only masquerading on here.

I am actually Chubby Brown.

Jackson is playing for Perpignan this evening in a « friendly » against Stade Toulousain, and the Frog press is expecting him to shine. We’ll see.

So far, the only info I could find was that USAP beat Toulouse 21-19.

Merci, Adder. I've tried to find the score but failed miserably. I read that Perpignan were going to field a different XV for each half, and according the Stade Toulousain website a group of 31 players were travelling to Perpignan.

According to the Indo, he played the first half, played confidently and booted conversions from both touchlines.
