Land in Dublin this evening IIRC.

It's not exactly the same as Cardiff as it's a wee bit trickier to get to Dublin but we kick off at 2.15 tomorrow. It feels v last minute and rushed. I wouldn't be surprised if the players seem unsettled again.
Anyone know what Glasgow did under Toonie? I can see the argument for training and sleeping in familiar surroundings for as long as possible.
Yes but not to such an extent that you're feeling rushed.

Looking forward to it either way. I suspect Hogg will have a huge say in this one.

Line out is a good old fashioned competition here.

Surely there are better co-commentators than Hastings available?

Jonny might want to call one away from the big fella in green.

Lovely stuff by Kinghorn there.

Wouldn't mind seeing how Wilson got his head knock.

Good start by Denton. He is excellent in the defensive lineout.

Maitland should be shot on the spot for that. Shocking.

Scotland's passing is pretty sub-standard. If that gets sorted, then it's on.

Would have been nice if Scotland could have passed the ball like this against England.

What is it with chucking miss passes when they have overlaps? Seems to be happening more and more.

Indeed, you are doing some nice things, but two mistakes, two tries...and butchery between Jones and Hogg.

Those 'mistakes' were evident in the England game though. Loopy passes that were dangerously close to being picked off by opposition players and a crap lineout.

Neither have been resolved.

Ireland deserve to be ahead because of our complete idiocy. We are pissing this away - Ireland are shockingly bad today and their brand of rugby is as boring as it is tedious.

We have a mountain to climb now, Ireland will go into mega ball retention mode in the second half.

And for the love of god why are we using Hogg as a distributor in attack? Get him on the end of a ball at pace and speed already. Just once will do...

Reid has either taken a head knock or he is just not fit enough for this type of rugby. He's walking around the place.

Macfarlane needs to tell Gray to be better with the calling. 3 poor line outs and 2 were thrown where Toner was so competition is pretty much guaranteed. Rambo has no excuses for that last one. Throw to the front and maul a couple.

Macfarlane should have dealt with this after the England game. We lost two (maybe 3) key throws.

Ireland operate at 60-70% possession against teams with far better lineouts than ours.

What did they think was going to happen?
