Taylor Pissing Swift. Has it come to this? Has Chuck Norris weighed in yet? Maybe Justin Bieber could help direct public servant effort for the benefit of those of us in the real world.
Favorite moment from the debate? When Trump accused immigrants of eating dogs.
Its all gone a bit Pete Tong....

Hey, Ronald Reagan was just an actor and he got to be the worst President that America ever had. And Trump was just a reality star and he was one of the worst Presiden... I honestly don't know how I thought this argument was helping.

He’s a busted flush with a single record in his vinyl collection that plays the same Jim Crow era song ad nauseum. Looking forward to Kid Rock weighing in.

Jesus, I've watched it now. No big hits on either side really. No one looked rattled or on the ropes. Yes, Trump lied a lot but he mostly got away with it, even repeating the same lie about executing babies after he was brought up on it the first time. He generally was allowed to speak whenever he wanted to make a response. The news guys were pretty good but still not strict enough on him (I guess they didn't have control of the mute button for his mike).
Gaza is fucked either way, clearly.

Was playground level shit at times. I thought Harris did what she needed to, but was disappointed that we don't have a candidate willing to stand up there and talk about policy going forward, face off against the hard questions etc. Hopefully she's done enough.
Anyone that votes for Trump is a fat idiot, also, Trump is a fat idiot.

Oh yeah, I was surprised that Harris didn't call him a criminal a few times but I guess they've calculated that the swing voters aren't actually bothered.

First responders still suffering from 9/11 23 years later.

The scale of this seems almost forgotten now.

I sort of thought Stephen Miller had fucked off ages ago but this is great to see. I honestly don't know how any journalist can keep up the strength/motivation to continue in this post-facts era, or whatever you call a statement like "the facts are the dead bodies".
Obviously it's dumb that Taylor Swift's opinion in all this is deemed important, but she is unfathomably popular and influencial. Of course it's a big deal. Incidently I thought Chuck Norris was already one of the vocal Trump guys?

It seems that this election will, incredibly, be decided by narrow margins again. Every little helps.

She could just have easily have promoted abortion from a platform of that magnitude with such a volume of blind devotion, so maybe unclench your pearls hon.

If we're still being mad about Taylor Swift, she already kind of has?

Sorry, I meant pro-life, anti-abortion as a possibility. No, she didn't, but she could. One person that is not a public servant or a legislative authority on anything with all that influence over so many blindly devoted people. She hasn't given an interview or written an essay, she just tweeted. Three hundred people only felt compelled to register to vote because a pop star said so on social media? That's just sad.

Stars have devoted fans. News at 11.
Meanwhile, I'm curious as to how unconcerned you are about a presidential nominee regurgitating literal neo-nazi talking points. Where do you think the "Haitians eating our pets in Springfield, Ohio" story originates?
I'm sorry, I must have missed the bit where I stated a lack of concern over that. I'm not going in circles over this. Devoted fans are apathetic about issues unless directed by stars. Weather at 12.

You certainly haven't expressed
any concern over it, and seem more fixated on some weird grudge about Taylor Swift.
What, did Tay-tay kick your dog? Shake it off, bro.
Oh please, distaste at that racist dog whistle is clearly evident to anyone with a pulse. There is no grudge against the stadium artist, I couldn't give two shytes about her. Again, someone with as much influence over the populace could just as easily wield influence in a darker direction, like an outsized individual donation to a Super PAC. How is this so difficult to understand? And no, I don't wish to be bombarded with angry pop references intended to illustrate a lecture to me on what a shining light (nice) famous people are.

FFS. Another "attempt" that will only lead to a rise in polls for Trump.

I mean I thought that with the first one, but didn't seem to play out that way at all.
I'm not sure how much is really known about the latest guy, though read he was a Trump voter in 2016.

This appears to be an utterly pointless argument, over absolutely nothing, for no reason. While I get that that's in keeping with the fine traditions of the internet, shall we just make an adult decision not to continue it and resume panicking about the USA still being undecided over choosing between their own Keir Starmer or the functional end of its democracy.
