Is the idea that Kinghorn is a fly-half in waiting done with? I assumed he would be the logical replacement with Bryce coming in at the back.

Please God, no no no no no.

SHC has played there twice in as many weeks I think; anybody seen the matches to comment on how he went?

He's gone alright from what I have seen. But Fowles is pish and he'd be the 9.

Baggott may be the next man but the schedule gets tricky. Benetton away needs a solid performance and it would be tough to pitch him into the 10 shirt fot the tour to S.A..

Decent tries, SHC looked comfortable at 10 but I wonder if they think his chance at international caps is better at 10.

Against some random Russian team...

I said it before the season started, Edinburgh's priority should have been signing or developing a 10. That is still the case. They only have themselves to blame here.

He's not suggesting he get capped for Scotland at fly half off one game in Russia you hyperbolic clown.

Also, you'll forgive us if we don't remember that diamond bit of preseason wisdom, you do spout so much shite, before, during and after the season.

I really doubt it. At 9 he really has only Price ahead of him for the AIs I reckon. Pyrgos hasn't played much recently, Kennedy is injured and Steele doesn't appear to be on the radar. Vellacot isn't first choice and may not commit anyways.

He played ten at age groups so should look reasonably familiar with it but let's face it he's obviously behind weir and Tovey. I think we've got to remember that in junior teams the best backs tend to play ten and they're the ones that make it to the pros.

Unfortunately it doesnt seem to have been a very well kept secret (if true). Rumours coming fron a lot of sources.

I don't know if someone like WhichTyler would know better but, from a medically ignorant perspective, would taking cocaine not be particularly stupid if you have a history of concussions?

Again, nothing firm has come out yet so we shouldnt be too quick to judge but in terms of bans etc. I''m not that bothered as long as there was no sign of it being used to enhance performance.

Possibly, there's a risk of psychiatric disorders with over use. The main cause for concern is damage to the heart and in turn strokes/brain damage after heart failure.

Other than being illegal, cocaine use isn't banned by WADA out of competition.

Will be interesting how this plays out. I'd still expect a ban just not a 2 year one

I understand it can enhance sexual performance, don`t think it`s been mentioned in the cycling doping system, (other than recreational) so, if they haven`t used it at some point.. It`s N.F.U.

Without a positive test, this could get messy, though I hope it`s resolved sensibly..

An Italian cyclist, Paolini, was recently banned for two years for taking cocaine. Dan Evans in tennis just got a one year ban didn't he?

Either he said yeah I've done it, and they ban him, must be to late to test him now unless he's bang on it all the time!

Hmm. Not looking like it's going to be the season I was hoping for from Bradbury where Cockerill turns him in to the new Jason White.
