Ref Davies came up with right decision IMO. Leinster score a try from the lineout. Looked easy. 7-6

Leinster score in the red. Took them an age. Clearly expect to trounce Edinburgh as they aren't kicking penalties.
SCORE 14-13 HT

For Burleigh to pointlessly kick it out on the full? Guys a muppet. Never understood what he brings to the team or the squad.

Naive from Ritchie. Not sure you can argue with that.

Sorry but Hodge has to go. We all knew this last year anyway. Edinburgh defence has tightened up, they look to have a bit more resilience about them, belief but they just cannot attack.
Watching them fling the ball wide as fast as humanly possible is cringeworthy. You need to create the space you simpletons.

I used to give Fife a lot of stick but he's looking like a different player since playing 7s.
I find it ridiculous that Edinburgh just had that try ruled out for crossing/blocking considering the entire Leinster and Ireland attack LITERALLY depends on their players doing that. Comical.

Look I know it isn't Hardie's fault but come on, that boy is just not cut out for the rigours of professional rugby. He looked out cold. Can't see him coming back for a wee while.

Some better things and very happy for Johnstone but they really really need to work on their finishing. They dont have a plan close to the line. I'm all for Cockerill toughening them up but you dont get points for being dogged if you cant score when you are on top.

Have to agree with Greig here, Hodge is to answer for that and I think he's had long enough out of Solomons shadow.

Aim more optimistic than you guys. First of all with that amount of defending to do we'd have conceded double the number of tries last year. The coaches have to get a lot of credit for the way that they've tightened up the defense.
In attack it wasn't great but there were positive signs. Thought that Tovey played well and put people into gaps a few times. Bring Freuan in at 12 and that back line has the potential to actually be a threat. And will someone please give Johnstone a full time Edinburgh contract. I can't believe that it's taken him this long to be given a chance but he looked fast, elusive and skillful. He's exactly the sort of depth player that we need. I also thought that Ritchie was very good again, mistake for the yellow card aside. He must be getting close to being in the Scotland squad.
Lenister looked as though they took the win for granted. They got there in the end because they've got some very good players but they're some distance from being the previous all conquering outfit. Best line of the match was Hugh Dan commenting that Sexton was starting to look chippy and Easson querying when he stopped. I loved the constant chat between him and SHC.

He breaks every other game. He is going to ruin his life if he keeps playing. Is it really worth it? He isn't cut out for pro rugby.
