BBC2 Scotland. But I'd advise you not to based on the first 10 mins. All Japan and we are lucky we're not 10-3 down.Adder wrote:where to go to watch the game?

Aye. We are still clueless though. Mitrea is man number 16 for us too.
Pyrgos needs to keep it up, eventually it will click.

I hope that's not a joke. I'm trying to watch two games at once.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Good quick service from Prygos.
Do any team in the world do more of those stupid pat backs along the floor when under pressure? Wilson just did one straight in to the path of the Japanese winger but the whistle went. He is a big culprit of it.

Those Japanese moves are just a joy to watch. They've scored under our posts from a brilliant move in their own 22. Superb try.

Mitrea is doing everything he can to help us and it's making me feel a bit sick... Does he hate the Japanese?

Are you still in the UK?Adder wrote:thanks. there seems to be no way of watching bbc2 Scotland on line.
If so, just change your regional setting to Scotland on the iplayer. If not, maybe check Reddit's rugby sub, they tend to have at least one working link most times.

Why does this feel like another wasted Saturday morning. What do you think the ABs would have done to us this morning? All these knock ons and slap backs... they'd be under the posts every time.

Am I going to get ridiculed again for stating that Japan are the better team again? They are excellent - we are second best everywhere.

Scottish players look exhausted. How warm is it? They are very passive in defense and the attack is very unstructured.
Japan are playing well but are by no means brilliant (from the 15 minutes I saw)

Don't be a girl. You were wrong last week. On the first half performance this week, you wouldn't be.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Am I going to get ridiculed again for stating that Japan are the better team again? They are excellent - we are second best everywhere.
Pretty ropey half from us in all aspects. Perfect example being just at the end there when we somehow miracle'd a penas from a retreating scrum, hoggy put in a superb kick right into the corner... We completely fuck the line out, then immediately give away a free kick in the ensuing scrum.
Could do with a win today... Fucking tired of being on the losing side of things this week.

Re: Japan Tour
It's probably not the heat as much as it's the humidity, but yeah, like last week, they all look like they are really struggling with it. Doing anything in high humidity is fucking horrible.Adder wrote:Scottish players look exhausted. How warm is it? They are very passive in defense and the attack is very unstructured.

Japan were the better team over 80 minutes last week. I don't see how anyone can contest that. We were professional and clinical when they had men in the bin.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Don't be a girl. BTW Pyrgos massively screwed up with that intercept but I can sympathise as well. The forwards were miles behind the gainline, stationary & waiting for the ball. He wants his players to run onto his passes and they are not doing this.

Re: Japan Tour
BTW if Jackson continues this performance in the second half I don't think he's going to get another shot in an international jersey barring a huge injury crisis. A real shame as he has shown so much potential at club level when his confidence is high.

This applies to Pyrgos to a lesser extent too. He just does not take his opportunities when given them.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:BTW if Jackson continues this performance in the second half I don't think he's going to get another shot in an international jersey barring a huge injury crisis. Mate, you live off the deep end, I'm not going to argue with you about last week. It's pointless.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Japan were the better team over 80 minutes last week. Agreed on Pyrgos there, he was desperate to have someone to run onto it, but it's just not good enough. If Japan today are an example of how to be clinical, we are the opposite.

Too hungover to watch. Has Pyrgos been USA game levels of pish?
