Ma'asi-White can also slot into 13. Has got pace, he's very raw but been solid when I've seen him. Having him in a training camp where he can be given work ons and a taste of what is needed to step up makes sense.

Especially when there's no Dingwall, Lawrence, Ojomoh, Butt etc available for this camp. Get some younger centres in and have a look at them.

This isn't a squad of "who do we pick if we're without Lawrence and Slade?" so much as "Who would we pick if we're without Lawrence, Slade, Dingwall, Freeman, Ojomoh, Daly and Butt, and we need enough players for England and England A (with 3-4 centres in each squad)? Oh, and whilst Marchant's in France, and Kelly's exploring his Irish heritage"

I'm of a similar mind to you - I really want to like him, cause the idea of having a big, fast, hard-carrying centre is very attractive, and we're conditioned as England fans to be looking at every back with a polynesian name as "Is this a Manu Tuilagi?", but I got into games to watch him and I've not seen the excitement yet. He's okay, but he's not powerful enough to barrel through people, not fast enough to run around them, doesn't have fantastic feet, or a particularly good eye for a gap, or a top passing game. Just seems like a solid, basic bosher without any outstanding attributes to lift him above Prem level to me.

I'm really hoping I'm missing it, cause I would very much like what other people seem to be seeing.

It'll be the omission of SAtkinson that'll upset everybody. There's obviously something about him that Scenter Betrayal doesn't like and the game against Bristol where he had an off-day will have wiped out the possibility of him getting in by being too consistently good to ignore.
