Good win for Liam Smith on the weekend, look like a possible fight against Kell Brook may be on the cards, not sure if Brook would move up or Smith down.

Excellent fight in early hours of Sunday between Provodnikov and Molina, Molina won on points.

I could see his point if Crolla wasn't fighting for the WBC 'diamond' belt and Ring "title" to add to his WBA belt. The WBO belt just isn't as attractive as being regarded No.1 in your division.

It does but this screams of Warren telling him people need to know your name go and talk to the press.

You're quite right that Crolla is not ducking him as it is not a fight worth taking for Crolla at the moment, Crolla's last performance was excellent, I was expecting him to get sparked by Barosso after seeing what he did to Mitchell, Crolla's tactics were spot on.

I'm looking forward to this, Saturday looks like a marathon of sports viewing.

Joshua's opponent looks interesting . Came into boxing quite late and talks a good fight . He's actually bigger that AJ and I'm hoping that its a good testing fight . Some of his opponents have been doormen like AJ's so we wait and see how either boxer reacts when put under pressure or not having things their own way .

Young Eubank looks a highly rated prospect , got the old mans' arrogance but so far has been able to back it up . Never going to be popular I feel but always worth watching .

Aye, I think Joshua will win comfortably but he's fighting a relatively unknown quantity, Eubank has looked good since the Saunders loss, the best matched fight I reckon will be Groves v Murray.

I think that Murray's better punch resistance will see him through this one just.

All over in round 7. Fair play to Breazeale as he soaked up quite a few big hits. Joshua picked him off at will.

It's a win win situation for Eubank unless he gets seriously hurt.

He'll get a big pay day and a half decent performance will elevate him to world level.

Thought AJ looked very good. Picked his shots well and got the job done. I think he hits harder than some (looking at you Dillian Whyte) like to say. After AJ caught Breazeale with a power shot he froze and didn't throw a lot back. And that is the only criticism really, he didn't need to do much defending and I think that needs work, he doesn't show a lot of head movement.

George Groves v[ Martin Murray
Murray got his tactics all wrong and looked slow and old. Groves looked decent, not as good as the commentators would have you think though. I thought Murray had him hurt once or twice and Murray has never been a massive puncher IMO. Still, decent performance by Grove though. Murray should retire IMO.

Chris Eubank JR v Tom Doran
I thought Jnr looked good. He is above British level though. Should be moving on to commonwealth/euro title level but will possibly skip that depending on GGG fight.

Conor Benn v Lukas Radic
Much more composed than previous fights and Benn looked much better for it.

Dillian Whyte v Ivica Bacurin
Thought Whyte looked poor to be honest. Could just be rusty, getting another couple of quick fights could be beneficial. I also think he could do with losing a bit of his gut.

That was evident after two rounds yet his corner didn't seem to be able to get him to change tack, before the fight you would have thought that the best way would have been to pressurise Groves as much as possible, in reality he just stood within range of Groves' jab most of the night without putting any pressure on, at least until late on by which point the fight was long gone.

So, it looks like we have two British fighters fighting two of the best P4P fighters out there, Golovkin V Eubank and Liam Smith to fight Canelo. it'll be a good test to see if Eubank has inherited his dads chin.

Agree about Eubank , G3 is a destructive body puncher often slowing his opponent down before clubbing head shots take there toll . Be great to see him over here tho' , Eubank certainly is confident which is good ( I think ) .

I think it'll be a reasonably close contest between Eubank and GGG, Eubank hasn't faced anyone with Golovkins workrate so it will be interesting, I'd go for a late win for Golovkin.

Funny seeing Liam promoted by FW when his bro's matchroom. Will be interesting to see how Gallacher game plans this for him. He has set out a bad one for Quigg and a good one for Crolla but both were defensive early. Smith can't let Canelo get off quickly.

I think Eubank has some nice skills (far more so then his dad), however it remains to be seen if he has the jaw and power at elite level, Golovkin will certainly put that to the test.

I agree with that but can't see his skills breaking down GGG or out boxing him. Will be good to watch though.
