Agreed. If left unchallenged, it will only promote more bad behaviour.

And Russia has done nothing. We need to realise that they're the barking dog.
agreed. Allowing Putin to win under the threat of nuclear annihilation makes it very hard to stand up to him in the future. Russia started this fight, I have no issue with allowing Ukraine to win without undue constraints being placed on how weapons are used (noting the need for keeping to international law).
I think Macron has figured this out too. Took some time, but he seems to be getting there.
It looks like Ukraine hasn't been given complete freedom to use UK arms on Russia:

I'm trying to make sense of that whole sentence:
But it is not, if you notice, I was the one when—and you guys did report it at TIME—the one that I was saying that I am not prepared to support the NATOization of Ukraine.
But if that's what he's saying, it's not a good thing. He should appear open to idea, even if it's not possible now.

He is often rather incoherent. Neither candidate has the mental faculties to be a capable president.

You'd think Europe would have been well immunised from fascism by the events if the 20th century. I guess no one ever thinks that their fascists are fascists . . . until it's too late.

And now the UK's own fascist has returned, his path cleared, his policies normalized by mainstream parties. The Tories have done most of the damage (which they are about to reap) but Starmer is joining in.
