"They were big fans of hydroxychloroquine. And I thought she was very impressive in the sense that, from where she came, I don't know which country she comes from, but she said that she's had tremendous success with hundreds of different patients. And I thought her voice was an important voice. But I know nothing about her."

Pressed on the matter further, the president abruptly ended his news conference. This is right up there with injecting bleach, but hopefully will help shift the 63 million doses of hydroxychloroquine stockpiled a couple of weeks before the FDA declared it ineffectual and potentially life threatening for covid patients. Its incredible that he isn't completely broke. I can only assume that his own ability to bully competitors (i.e. less wealthy businesspeople who can't afford fancy lawyers) combined with some actual competence within his various businesses have kept him afloat.

Given how much he was provided by this father, it would be interesting to find out if he has increased that amount beyond say what bank interest would provide.
