You mean the Tony Macaroni Arena, surely....


According to wiki the construction cost of St. Mirren's new stadium cost £8 million in 2009, so I agree that that does sound a little high.

Did think it was aa little high but I would imagine there would very significant costs associated with getting the land in a condition to build a stadium. The flood defence work that's been done won't be enough for a stadium on it. It also wouldn't be surprising if any stadium needs some lad purchase even if minor.

Dodson also specifically said Edinburgh council are very difficult to deal for planning etc. Especially compared to GCC.
