Spencer deservedly MoM, given the relentless Underhill shouldn’t have been on the pitch.

de Glanville continues to impress. A good all-rounder with decent skills, ample gas and rugby brains who is comfortable at FB and wing.

Congrats Bath, five years since a club from England won a European trophy.

Be interesting to see how they do in the Champions Cup over the next decade.

4 match ban. Should have hired Chessum’s lawyer.

Ooft. I started off writing that it was harsh, but a google tells me he got a 2 match ban and did tackle school for a similar incident earlier in the season, so it's probably fair enough as a repeat offence.

Could cost him dear in the international frame though. He'll miss the France XV game (even if Bath don't make the final by some fluke, he'll now be banned) and the first Argentina test - will it be worth Shows Belatedly's time taking him on tour for only one relevant game, especially with the number of other flankers we have available to us?

Yep. Easy to see a situation he misses this chance to get his foot back in the door while Curry, Pollock and Earl are away. With his injury record it’s hard to know if he’ll be considered worth involving longer term.
