Assiratti is awful, Archie Griffin got mullered v Bokke. Coleman?? Whats he like guys?
In fairness to Griffin, at the point he played against the Boks, he had only ever played 10 Premiership games and all of those were short cameos from the bench. Getting folded in half like that is a mandatory learning experience most young props get to have at their clubs, against some horrible old bastard from the Valleys, not against Thomas du Toit with Etzebeth behind him.

It's easy to forget cause he's somehow got 6 caps and 5 starts, but he's woefully inexperienced at adult rugby and Gatland dropped him right in at the deep end. As long as you haven't terminally broken his confidence (and he can actually get some regular club game-time, which I still think will require a move), I still think you've got a decent player there to develop.

It was a sign of desperation and Groffin needs time to develop. I’d agree that a mov would be in his best interests long term- young players just need to be playing

I'm amazed a move hasn't happened already. Bath probably want to keep him till the end of his contract, considering he's likely on pennies and is the best third choice tighthead in the league, but surely the player himself must be keen to go be first choice somewhere. Mind, I suppose with him having had so many injuries and been out for so much of the season, he's likely not feeling the bite yet.

There is a lot of good sense posted by multiple posters on the subject of TH props. Coleman has not looked great, but maybe he has scope for development. Probably if he does not show anything on this tour he will not get asked again.
