I'd pick McCallum over Berghan in a heartbeat. So it's an interesting one.

Yep. Of course its too soon for McCallum. Just as it was for Fagerson who was pressed into action at a very young age due to our complete shortage of TH options. McCallum has hardly played any pro rugby. Just because Berghan is a bit shit doesn't make McCallum the answer. He's only being talked about due to the current Propageddon. I recall McCallum being a prop on wheels for the U20s a couple of years ago - don't get me wrong I'm far from writing him off - just he has a lot of developng to do. Circumstances may dictate otherwise..

He may be a better prop in 12 months time but by then Russell may be cricked from being overplayed in France, Price has lost form, the Scottish knee fairy has struck and ?Hogg has gotten himself suspended, or something...

Berghan has looked quite useful in the Pro14 for a couple of seasons now but he gets his arse handed to him in Tests. Suspect same would happen to McCallum. But then again - I thought Marfo would get crushed so WTF do I know

When we went to the Ireland game when we beat them in Croke Park it was 83 euro which was about 65quid back then. Mental prices.

Come kick off I'll be full of drunken hubris. I paid 60 odd in 2016 and had a terrible seat. I'm paying 81 this time, I better have a decent view. Whatever the result it's my second favourite away trip after Paris and I always have a braw weekend.

Glasgow being savaged in Dublin. Always likely under the circumstances, but the way Leinster are bullying Warriors up front, then gushing through them out wide, could be an alarming premonition for the Six Nations.

That's why very few of the Glasgow forwards will start.

No idea how Reid is playing but the starting forwards could be:

Bench front row worries me though.

GTs game plan for Scotland is exciting but this 6N really is an acid test to how it will work against physical teams who will compete in every facet of play.

I would say the Toonie game plan almost has to double down and see what happens as with the forwards we have going back to hitting up is not going to work for us against Ireland or England or France

Wales are a bit of a shambles right now but could still wreck us down there if we dont get ball for the backs

R Gray is fit again now so could shore up the scrum if needed. The first choice pack won't be much different quality wise from what we managed in the AIs. As others have said - the TH and hooker bench options are horrendous.

Does anyone know if it's possible that Ford/Brown may make a return during the 6N?
